My 40 Days with God is the catalyst for me to seriously get my act together.I’ve been telling God “Tomorrow I’ll spend time with You” numerous times. There were days I spent time with Him and there were days when it’s all about me.
(I had the book as a gift from a sweet seasoned friend.) During the 40 Days, God assured me of some of my uncertainties and He also taught me new things. He did not cause ‘the earth to tremble’ during my 40 Days and there were days when I felt my prayers did not even reach the ceiling. But God is faithful and He just wanted me to stay committed to Him. I actually felt a tinge of sadness on the 32nd day as I will soon be leaving this sacred time with Him. This will not be a one-time 40 Days with Him. I hope to have many more 40Days with Him for He never ceases to amaze me. (Goh Pek Tin)
